Volume I: Seint Greal. Published in 1876 by Thomas Richards. Originally written ca. 1200
it is the story of King Arthur's knights and their search for the Holy Grail.
The first 433 pages are wrtitten in Old Welsh with pages 437-737 giving the English translation.
Volume II is published by Bernard Quaritch, 1892. It contains stories which formed the basis for Chaucer's Canterbury Tales. It is also written in Old Welsh with English translation. Rev. G. Hartwell Jones finished Williams' translation.
Two volumes, tall 8vo, bound in olive cloth. Spines are sun-faded. The front hinge of vol I is weak, some pages unseparated. The text block is tight and unmarked.
